Read moreEven though the Chicago Toy and Game Fair (ChiTAG) is still over 3 months away, I’m getting ready for it. Because this year, for the first time, I’m going to be there!
ChiTAG started in 2003 and is the largest toy and game fair in the U.S. open to public. ChiTAG brings together hundreds of companies and leaders in the toy and game industry and thousands of participants for a few days of fun. In 2012, ChiTAG attracted over 25,000 people!
From what I hear, they put on a great show.

As much as I love games, I haven’t read any books about board games before (not even a Chess book). But when Mc Graw Hill sent us “Monopoly, Money, and You: How to Profit from the Game’s Secrets of Success” by Philip E. Orbanes I decided to give it a go.

Well, at least according to the more than 40 top board game reviewers around the world these are the best board games. Every year The Dice Tower gathers recommendations from around the globe. Those reviewers then whittle the lists down to the nominations. From there the final votes are cast and The Dice Tower Awards are announced!

And looking back even farther – say 160 years – games were extremely different.
