International Tabletop Day – R U Ready?

TableTopDay_logoAre you ready to play a bunch of board games and card games on International Tabletop Day this Saturday, March 30?

We’re ready to have some fun with family and friends – hanging out and having fun playing all sorts of games.

Since we wrote about International Tabletop Day last month, we’ve seen more and more people gear up for it. And many game stores worldwide are welcoming people to stop by and play games in their stores. So if you aren’t sitting around your own table, find a game store near you to get some game playing time.

Recommended Games to Play
Earlier this week, Felicia Day and Team at Geek & Sundry (the promoters of International Tabletop Day) posted a list of 10 Games to play on Tabletop Day. Taking a quick look at their list of game suggestions, we noticed that 7 of the 10 games they listed are board games or card games that we’ve reviewed!

Ticket to Ride is a great game!

These are all great games and they cover a wide range of different types of games – strategy, party, cooperative, social deduction, and more.

And if you’re looking for even more suggestions, check out our Game Gift Guides, Top 10 “Must Have” Board Games, or our Family Favorites lists.

Who knows yet what games we’ll play on Saturday, but we’re looking forward to a bunch of fun!

P.S. I think there’s a high probability that these games will hit the table: Descent, King of Tokyo, Kingdom Builder, and Memoir ’44.

  • Unfortunately I’m on night shift this weekend but can’t wait to see what ya’ll actually played! I think Dominion should be in the mix somewhere! I got creamed in that the other day at a boardgame meetup – this guy stacked action cards where the money ended up being on the action cards and he could play sometimes 8 or 9 cards. the thief card was out and it did me no good with him except maybe once! I was lucky to get a couple of province cards and he racked up the rest including some of the duches I think they’re called. I still had fun though and learned yet another strategy.
