Board Games 4 Charity drive

Board Games 4 CharityHeading in to the holiday season, we’re starting to think about great family board games on our wish list that we’d love receive.

However, our thoughts also turn to many needy families that have a lot of things on their wish lists as well. We know there are many ways to help families in need. And we also know games can shine a light in tight times as well. As such, we’d like to make you aware of a charity in our area that focuses on a little board game joy for families and kids in need.

Boys and Girls Club of Utah CountyEverythingBoardGames.com is conducting their 2nd annual Board Games 4 Charity drive. Last year they were able to collect a lot of games to donate to the United Way of Utah County. This year they will be teaming up with the Boys and Girls Club of Utah County and Kids On The Move. These are two great charities that can benefit from monetary donations and donated games.

Money raised between now and November 30th will be used to buy board games to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Utah County and Kids On The Move.

There are three ways you can help:

  1. Buy any game for you and your family on the EverythingBoardGames.com site and 20% of all proceeds will go towards Board Games 4 Charity.
  2. Bring your new or used games to be donated to the Board Games 4 Charity Game Night December 7th.
  3. Donate on the EverythingBoardGames.com site and 100% will go towards Board Games 4 Charity.

Their Board Games 4 Charity Drive goals for this year is a modest $1,000.
And they’d love your help to reach that goal.

  • Hi Trent – I just wanted to give a quick update. We have a new website http://www.boardgames4charity.org. And we have a location for our game night: Kids On The Move (475 W 260 N, Orem). There also maybe a 2nd night added. More to come on that. Thanks Dane
