Sure, we know that not everyone in the world recognizes Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t matter – we wish you a happy day regardless.
Valentine’s Day is a perfect day for expressing love to those around you. And in particular, we hope you take the time to express your love to your family – wherever they may be. Yes, this will include telling them that you love them. But more importantly we hope your expressions of love are found in the things you do and the way you interact with your family.

- Spend time together
- Eat dinner together
- Compliment them
- Encourage them
- Bite your tongue if necessary
- Do what they want to do
- Do something that they normally do – serve them
- Wash the dishes
- Make their beds
- Share stories
- Read books to each other
- Play a game together (you were expecting this one)
- Give out hugs like they’re going out of style
- Write a real letter and mail it
- Call your distant relatives
- Bake cookies for your neighbors
- Shovel other’s walkways
- And from here we’ll let you continue your own list
But another thing we’d like to share is a message that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day. In fact, it’s perhaps the best Valentine’s Day message we’ve heard in a long time. It too focuses on “How” we love. And if we all would love like Jesus loves, then the world would truly be a better place.
