The Board Game Family is back in action.

We know it’s been over 3 weeks since we posted a new review on our website, but we’ve been away. Half of our family (Dad, Trevor, and Jaden) attended the Boy Scouts of America 2010 National Jamboree in Fort AP Hill Virginia and have been out of town for 2 and 1/2 weeks. It was estimated that about 40,000 scouts and scouters attended the 100 year celebration of scouting in America at the Jamboree.

So while we haven’t played many games over the last 3 weeks, we’ve done plenty of scouting activities and touring historic sites. To see the myriad of activities that happen at a national scout jamboree, you can check out photos on the Boy Scouts of America flickr photostream.

It was an amazing experience that we’ll remember forever.

And now that we’re back home, it’s time to get back to telling you about more board games and card games that we like playing as a family. So stay tuned …
