Since we review so many new games, it’s easy to get caught up in all the hype and allure of new board games.

One of the indicators of our favorite board games and card games is how many times we play a game. However, that’s not always the best indicator because the length of time it takes to play a game is also a big factor in how often we play it. But it’s a good starting point.

Do your kids like games where they get to destroy things?

In Toc Toc Woodman, players get to play lumberjack and use an axe to chop down a tree. And they can be as wild as they want with the chopping.
