In Toc Toc Woodman, players get to play lumberjack and use an axe to chop down a tree. And they can be as wild as they want with the chopping. Of course, if they’re too wild, there going to lose the game. Because in Toc Toc Woodman the winner will be the person that chops with more precision than vigor.

I never realized I had been playing Hangman wrong all these years.

Not playing it wrong in the sense that I didn’t follow the rules – guessing a letter, marking it off the list, and adding it to the word if correct or placing a body part on the board if incorrect. But playing it wrong in how to go about guessing the letters for the words.

D-Day Commemoration – Memoir ’44 all night

Today marks the 68th anniversary of D-Day – the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. On June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France.

For such an occasion, there are many different was people commemorate D-Day around the world. This year, we’re commemorating D-Day by playing Memoir ’44.

Befuzzled Be Fun

Our family had a great time the other night playing Befuzzled. And though we’ve had this card game for a while, we haven’t yet posted a review of it. Well, it’s time to change that because Befuzzled is a fun family game.

Even though I just mentioned Befuzzled as a card game, it feels more like a party game. Mostly because everyone’s acting out at the same time and there’s a lot of laughing.
