For Sale – Property flipping fun for everyone

For Sale card game
For Sale is a fun family card game.

Are your kids great investors?
Do they like to buy low and sell high?
Can they flip a property for a great profit?

The great news is that your kids don’t have to know anything about investing or Real Estate to enjoy playing For Sale.

Sure, the theme of this family card game is about buying and selling property, but that doesn’t mean it’s a boring, number crunching exercise.

Instead, For Sale is a great family card game that’s simple to understand and fun to play.

See all about it in Brooke’s short video review of For Sale.

Can everyone in the family enjoy For Sale?

If your kids are old enough to understand numbers, then you’re family is set – everyone in the family can enjoy playing For Sale.

As you can see in Brooke’s video review, For Sale is a very simple card game to understand and play. New players can be introduced to the game in just a couple minutes and you’re off and running.

It’s also a fun card game to play. There are enough decisions to keep it interesting and enough bits of luck to keep you guessing. Player turns and rounds also go very quickly so everyone stays engaged the whole time.

Which property would you want?

For Sale also involves plenty of player interaction as you bid against each other for properties and compete to sell your properties for the best checks.

How bad do you really want those higher number houses? Is it worth increasing your bid? Or are you happy to take the lower number card and keep some money for later?

And when it comes time to sell your property, it’s all about outguessing what your opponents are going to play. If you get lucky, you’ll be able to sell your low value properties for a great return.

Simple decisions and simple fun. For Sale is a great, light family card game.

(And your kids may even learn something about buying low and selling high along the way.)

For Sale card gameHow does For Sale score on our “Let’s Play Again” game meter?

For Sale scores high on our “let’s play again” game meter. I don’t think we’ve played just one game of For Sale. One play has always been followed by at least one additional play.

There really isn’t any set up time, so it’s very quick to get out and begin playing. The only adjustment needed is pulling out a few cards depending on how many players are playing. Then hand out the initial money, set out properties and begin.

For Sale is part of the Gryphon Games “Bookshelf Series”, which includes other great families games as well. We’ve reviewed a few of the bookshelf series: Roll Through the Ages, Incan Gold, and Botswana.

A couple of the other Bookshelf Series games that we’ve enjoyed are Looting London and Birds on a Wire.
