But if you’re playing a game that just has standard playing shapes and colors to represent you in the game, then by all means add your personality into the game. Even with a game like Carcassonne, where everyone has cool meeples to place on roads, towns, and fields the game also recommends you use one of your meeples on the score track. Well, how about you change out your marker for the score track and play with one extra meeple in the game?

Pretty much any game that has a score track, you could throw in your custom game pieces and you’ll never have to remember who’s the blue piece that’s in the lead.
