Wits and Wagers Family – award winning family fun

Wits & Wagers Family
Great family game!

Have you heard about Wits and Wagers before? Well, if not you should know that it’s been an award winning party game since its release in 2005.

But the really great news is that North Star Games just created a new version tailored specifically for families – Wits and Wagers Family. So the big question now is: “Is it any fun?”

Well, don’t wait any longer, check out our family video review of Wits and Wagers Family by the kids. We’re also bringing you a bonus in this video. Keep watching after the game review to see the game in action with plenty of sample questions to get an even better feel for whether your family would like the game or not.

Can the whole family enjoy Wits and Wagers Family?

If they don’t then it’s too bad for them. They’ll be the ones missing out on the fun.

Will younger kids understand every question? No. But they don’t have to in order to have fun because I’ll guarantee that the grown-ups won’t get all the questions either. Grandma may not have any idea who Taylor Swift is, but that will make it even more fun for the kids – to see the grown-ups get confused.

But is it limited to just 5 players?

Nope.

While there may just be 5 boards and 5 sets of colored Meeples, that doesn’t mean you’re stuck to just 5 people playing at a time. The first time we played there were  8 of us – 2 played on their own and the 6 others split into 3 teams of 2. And it was great fun.

Once again, here’s another game that we’d gladly recommend to every family out there. It registers high on the “let’s play it again” gauge. You know what we’re talking about – that’s where at the end of the game everyone immediately shouts out, “let’s play it again”?
