RISK: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Edition – Conquer the galaxy

Our first board game review is a great one…Risk: Star Wars the Clone Wars edition.

We’ve had Star Wars Risk for a few years and like to pull it out when we want to control the galaxy. It’s a great game for those that have a mind for some strategy mixed with luck. Because no matter what your strategy is, when it comes down to a dice roll for each battle, you may have to change your strategy on the fly.

We really like this version of Risk for a few reasons:

  1. You can play as teams or individually
  2. It’s long, but not drawn out forever – with an element that draws an end to the game rather quickly once you’ve been going for a while
  3. And it’s the Star Wars universe – ‘nuf said

Note posted November 2010: Since this was our first posted video review, we hadn’t started doing longer write-ups to supplement the review. So hopefully the video will speak for itself as we don’t know if we’ll get back to adding to the write up for some time.
